Kids’ Fracture Tool produces constant hospital-based reports for intra-institutional use. Special reports can also be created of any registered data. The data from different hospitals can be put together e.g. for research purposes.
The tool is used in New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki and in HUS hospitals in Hyvinkää, in Jorvi and in Porvoo. In addition, the use of Kids’ Fracture Tool will be expanded to Estonia during 2024, initially in Tartu and later to the whole country.
We will organize an annual Kids’ Fracture Tool Day in order to update and improve the register. The meeting will also serve as an excellent platform to find a better consensus on pediatric fracture care.
