Kids’ Fracture Tool produces constant hospital-based reports for intra-institutional use. Special reports can also be created of any registered data. The data from different hospitals can be put together e.g. for research purposes.
The tool will soon be launched also in the Turku University Hospital. New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki and the Turku University Hospital cover over half of Finland’s tertiary level care. Our next goal is to get all the hospitals treating children in Finland to use the tool.
We will organize an annual Kids’ Fracture Tool Day in order to update and improve the register. The meeting will also serve as an excellent platform to find a better consensus on pediatric fracture care.
